1 Timothy 1:15
“Christ Jesus Came into the world to save sinners"

The Faithful Saying
“This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.” —1 Timothy 1:15 (KJV)

The apostle Paul called himself the worst of sinners. He had hunted Christians, approved their deaths, and breathed threats against the church. Yet Jesus met him on the Damascus road, blinded him with light, and spoke his name: “Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?”

In that moment Paul discovered two truths that can change your life forever:

-
You are a sinner. Not just “imperfect” or “flawed”—a rebel against a holy God. “All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). Your good deeds cannot erase even one lie, one lust, one hateful thought.
-
Christ Jesus came to save sinners. He left heaven’s throne, lived the perfect life you could not, and died on a cross to take the punishment you deserve. “The blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin” (1 John 1:7). Three days later He rose, proving the debt is paid.

Paul didn’t earn this rescue—he received it by faith. You can too. Right now, admit your sin to God, trust Christ’s death and resurrection as your only hope, and He will save you. “Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13).
Pray simply: “Lord Jesus, I am a sinner. I believe You died for me and rose again. Save me now. I trust You alone.”

The worst of sinners became the greatest missionary. Jesus still saves to the uttermost. Will you trust Him today?
